If the program has been changed in any way, a warning will be given. If this happens, please use your Virus Checking program to test your disk. If no viruses are found, Basic Algebra may have been accidentally corrupted. Re-install the program from the original disk. ************************************************************************* Installing Basic Algebra in Windows. Basic Algebra is a DOS program but it is fully compatible with Microsoft Windows. It uses the ICT Icon in the ICT.ICO file. To install Basic Algebra on the Windows desktop, activate the Program Group in which you want to include it. Then using Program Manager, choose Files, then New, then click on Program Item. This brings up the Program Item Properties box. Enter Basic Algebra as the Description and in the Command Line slot enter C:\ICT\BASICALG.EXE (if you unpacked the program to the C:\ICT directory). Now choose Change Icon. You will be told that there are No Icons Available. Click on OK, and when you reach the Icon box type in C:\ICT\ICT.ICO for the filename. Click on the OK Button then click again on the OK Button in the Properties box. The ICT icon will now be associated with Basic Algebra whenever the Program Manager starts up, and it can be launched by double-clicking on the icon.
